The clinic has been established on the initiative of Dr Sairan Saha and was formally opened by Prabhu Karuneshwar Madhav Das, spiritual leader of the ISKCON-run Jagannath Ji Temple at Baikhora.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by elected representatives, government officials, community leaders and local residents.

Several other officials and community representatives also attended the ceremony.
Clinic authorities announced that physiotherapy services would be provided free of cost to patients on the inaugural day. The initiative was intended to familiarise residents with the facility and encourage them to make use of physiotherapy and rehabilitation services available locally.
The clinic is expected to provide physiotherapy support to patients requiring rehabilitation, mobility assistance and pain management. It will also cater to people recovering from injuries and other conditions that affect physical movement and functioning.
Speaking at the inauguration, Prabhu Karuneshwar Madhav Das expressed hope that the new facility would prove beneficial to residents of Santirbazar and other parts of South Tripura.
He said the availability of physiotherapy services within the locality would help patients avoid travelling long distances for rehabilitation and mobility-related care.
The establishment of the clinic at the district hospital premises was welcomed by local residents and community members.
Residents said its location would make physiotherapy services more convenient to access and could facilitate better coordination between rehabilitation and other medical services available at the hospital.
Organisers said the initiative was aimed at addressing the need for accessible physiotherapy services in the region and providing residents with professional support closer to their homes.
The facility is expected to assist patients during recovery and rehabilitation and support those facing mobility-related difficulties.
The inauguration marked the formal commencement of the clinic’s services and brought together representatives of the healthcare sector, local administration and the wider community.
