Agartala, December 21 : Exercises are being held today to sensitize the people of the state about natural calamities across the state. Out of the 8 districts of the state, the exercise is being conducted at 6 places in West Tripura district and 5 places each in other 7 districts. On this day, he said, the Tripura Disaster Management Authority and the District Disaster Management Authority of the concerned district jointly organized this exercise with the cooperation of the National Disaster Management Authority. This exercise is held once every year. The exercise is being held on this day.
He also informed that this exercise is being held in 41 places of the state. Out of the 8 districts of the state, 6 places in West Tripura district and 5 places each in other 7 districts have been earmarked for the exercise.
