Agartala: Nov 05: In a clash that broke out between ruling BJP and opposition CPIM in Teliamura under Khowai district this evening several supporters of both parties and two police personnels were injured. Many of the injured with head injuries were rushed to the local hospital for treatment. An injured CPIM cadre alleged that they were organizing a road show at Koroilong school area when some BJP supporters attacked them and even security personnel were injured. Chair and stage of the CPIM has been vandalised and a vehicle was also broken. Local BJP MLA Kalyani Roy alleged that CPIM cadres attacked their supporters with bricks and sticks and many sustained injuries. Along with the CPIM some of the BJP supporters were seriously injured. Parties are putting the blame on each other. Large number of security personnel have been deployed in the area.
