Agartala: July 09: In a significant development, the administration has issued a notice to demolish the Bharat Ratna Sangha Club building, citing its construction on government land. West Tripura District Magistrate Dr. Biswajit Kumar conveyed this information during a press conference today.
According to Dr. Kumar, the Bharat Ratna Sangha Club currently occupies one acre of land. However, a recent government survey revealed that the club’s building encroaches upon government-owned property.
To rectify this situation, the administration has granted the club authorities a seven-day deadline to dismantle the structure voluntarily. Should the club fail to comply within the specified timeframe, the administration will take necessary action to ensure the building’s removal.
