In a landmark development coinciding with its Golden Jubilee celebrations, Tripura Gramin Bank (TGB) has launched its first-ever Co-Branded RuPay Credit Card in collaboration with its Sponsor Bank, Punjab National Bank (PNB), marking a historic milestone in the Regional Rural Bank (RRB) sector.
Tripura Gramin Bank has become the first RRB among the eight RRBs sponsored by PNB—and the first such bank nationwide—to introduce a Co-Branded RuPay Credit Card, highlighting its pioneering role in bringing modern banking solutions to rural and semi-urban customers.
The initiative has been steered under the visionary leadership of Shri Satyendra Singh, Chairman of Tripura Gramin Bank, whose strategic approach and commitment to digital empowerment and customer-centric banking have been instrumental in translating TGB’s Golden Jubilee vision into practical, forward-looking initiatives.
The launch aims to enhance financial inclusion and customer convenience by providing seamless access to modern credit facilities within the trusted RuPay ecosystem, particularly benefiting rural and semi-urban communities.
The prestigious launch event was graced by: Smt.
