Agartala: Jan 18: Congress is getting mileage from the start of alliance process with CPI(M) to bring the wind of change. As per the pre-arranged schedule, the Congress bike procession started from Swami Vivekananda ground on Wednesday morning. The procession takes various routes in the city. MLA Sudip Roy Barman, who was present at the rally, criticized the current government and said that he is very happy today.
The youth have come out of the house for a change, defying many oppressions and obstacles for five long years. And from the wind of this change, he said that its speed should be accelerated more because changes must be made in the interest of the people of the state. And he confirmed in a way that BJP is withdrawing from Tripura in the upcoming assembly elections. Ajay Kumar, the incumbent leader of the Pradesh Congress, said that the non-violent bike march of the Congress against the BJP’s bike force. He also said to the people of the state that everyone should come out of their homes to remove BJP from Tripura. And All India Congress leaders Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi are campaigning to defeat this government from Tripura, he said.
Jarita Laitphrang, editor of All India Congress, who was present at the rally, said that today’s rally is a response to the bike forces that they can have a peaceful bike rally. He taunted the BJP’s bike forces and asked them to stop terror and join the bike rally. Regarding the alliance of Congress with Tipra Matha, he said that the discussion is going on. The people of the state will know about this very soon. Former state Congress president Gopal Roy and other leaders were also present in their procession.
