Agartala: Nov 11: A major success was achieved in the joint operation of four forces to destroy cannabis plantations from several places in ADC Village Manai Pathar of Jatrapur police station area on Friday.
Today’s campaign was exceptional. Police of Jatrapur police station, TSR, SPO and 133 BN-BSF along with 4 vehicles raided since 10 am on Friday. Sub Inspector of Jatrapur police station Surjit Rudra Pal has basically led this operation. They cnduct raids in reserved forest areas. According to police sources, 10,000 cannabis plants have been cut and destroyed in 12 plots in total. However, again in the fourth round of operation, the jawans returned to the police station after conducting the operation smoothly from the previous day’s operation.
But it’s just a lot of uphill climbs that the soldiers have to carry out. But the question is why forest department was silent earlier. Police officers are of the opinion that this type of operation will keep the net of the future.
