Agartala, November 21: Governor Indrasena Reddy Nallu visited Ikfai University at Kamalghat this morning. The registrar A Ranganath and faculty members of the university welcomed the governor to the university. Governor interacted with the Registrar and other faculty members at the ICFAI University’s conference hall. The Governor was briefed on the readings of the University through PowerPoint presentations. In discussions with the registrar and others, the governor directed to give importance to the local language especially Kakbarak language in reading.
He also emphasized on giving special attention to Divyangjans and their guardians in the university. Moreover, the Governor inaugurated the Wall Magazine in the Academic Building of the University. Law students staged a short play on the evils of drug use and gambling. The students also met the governor during his visit to the university. The Governor also planted a tree on the university campus. He also visited the university library.
