Agartala: Nov 22: The Border Security Force organised a ‘Rozgar Mela’ on Tuesday at Salbagan frontier headquarters of BSF Tripura in Agartala. It is part of the union government’s initiative to boost employment generation opportunities for the youth.On the day Prime Minister Narendra Modi handed over 71,000 appointment letters to newly inducted recruits at the second Rozgar Mela, via- video conferencing.
This is the second time within a month that the PM had organised the Rozgar Mela to release appointment letters to newly-inducted recruits.Earlier on October 22 the PM had handed over 75,000 such appointment letters.
Meantime, 175 youths of Tripura who were newly inducted appointees in various central security agencies also received their appointment letters here during the ‘Rozgar Mela’ in which union Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment, Pratima Bhowmik was the chief guest and in presence of Sumit Sharan, IG BSF Tripura, and other senior officers who distributed the Offer of Appointment to the selected candidates. The selected candidates showed great enthusiasm and zeal in serving the nation.
