Agartala July 6: Talks are going on among all the opposition parties to jump against the government in the Assembly budget session. So the ministers are also meeting till late night to prepare. But the matters related to the interest of the people will be discussed in the assembly. Opposition leader Animesh Debbarma said this at a press conference in the Legislative Assembly on Thursday, a day before the budget session of the Legislative Assembly.
He said that the opposition party Tipra Matha has been demanding to write Kakbarak language in Roman script. The Chief Minister stood in the last assembly session and said that Kakbarak language can be written either in Bengali or Roman letters. Then the Chief Minister has given permission to write in Roman script in clear Kakbarak language. But the Chief Minister is also talking about forming a committee later. The Chief Minister said that a committee has been constituted. But there is no student organization or students in that committee. But the decision of this committee will not be accepted without keeping this demand for them. So the government should withdraw this committee. So this government is suffering from indecisiveness. That is, this government is saying different things at different times. He also said that a job circular was published on April 4. It said that 230 graduate teachers will be recruited. Out of this, 172 vacancies will be filled for STs, 29 for General and 29 for SC category. But those who published this job notification knew that someone or the other would go and file a case in the High Court. That is, the plot is to show the biscuit, but not to eat it.
It was all planned. And the court says that no more than fifty percent are preserved. So orders to keep 50 percent reservation. This means that the court has not said to cancel the entire recruitment process. Therefore, the opposition party is demanding that the government obeys the court’s order in giving jobs without canceling the recruitment process. Because the court never once asked to thwart the examination. It is not possible for the unemployed to sit for the exam with repeated preparation. And repeatedly spending money to appear for the exam costs a lot of money to the unemployed youth. This is what the opposition leader said.
