122 voters from 34 families joined the Congress.
Agartala: Nov 11: Raimavalley Block Congress organized a rally at Gandachhara market on Friday. Earlier, a huge rally with supporters of the party workers came to Gandachhara market after circumambulating various routes in Gandachhara city area and met in a meeting. Tripura Pradesh Congress President Birjit Singha, MLA Sudip Roy Barman, former MLA Ashish Kumar Saha, Tripura Congress in-charge szarita laitphlang along with Raimavalley Block President Ranjit Tripura, Block Youth Congress President Badal Sarkar and others were present there. In this day’s joining meeting, 122 voters from 34 families left various parties and joined the Congress party. The Congress leaders accepted the party by handing over the party flag to the party quitters.
While discussing there, MLA Sudip Roy Barman criticized the Center and the state BJP government. “The country is being looted under the rule of BJP, the leaders and ministers are eating, and the people are sucking their fingers. How many more hats will you give to the people”, Sudip Roy Barman taunting the BJP during Congress’s meeting in Raimavalley.
He further said people of Tripura state are very upset with the ruling group. For five long years only hear big words and promises. This BJP has no work to do. Development has completely stalled. The roads are in poor condition, there is no hospital service. He complained and said that the power lines were cut all over Gandachhara because of the Congress program. Congress will form the government with the people of the state. This is what MLA Sudip Roy Barman said during a press conference at Rajarshi Dakbangla during his visit to Gandachhara on Friday.
MLA Sudeep Roy Barman said that the people of the state had established this BJP government with many hopes and aspirations. Thought that Tripura would provide employment during the tenure of this government. But under this government, the unemployed are disoriented and depressed. The brother of the BJP leadership involved in its drug dealing i.e. the brother of the Union Minister. A few days ago, the Bangladesh government filed a complaint against the Union Minister’s brother to the Delhi government. In addition, he accused the central government and said that the government under the leadership of Narendra Modi is currently paying off the debt of the big people because the BJP kept billions of rupees of rice before 2014. So Mr. Barman alleged that this BJP government is a hypocrite, liar and deceiver.
