With the initiative of KVK North Tripura a mega Skill Development Training Programme on nursery project has been organized here in KVK North Tripura campus premises. To generate skill and awareness amongst the local beneficiaries the concerned KVK authority has disposed efficient resource persons to handle this mega Skill Development Training Programme. The programme has been initiated from 10th of March 2023. This skill development training programme will be continued for 10 days and a total time term of 270 hours. Aiming to create proper awareness and skill development amidst nursery workers the KVK North Tripura is providing all essential trainings on grafting and budding in different crops viz Mango, Lemon, Jackfruit and Rose. Mr. Partha Das, Technical staff of ICAR Tripura center, Lembucherra was present as a resource person where he showed the skills related techniques on grafting and Budding. As per the report, total 25 numbers of participants are being trained under this programme. The training co ordinator is Dr. Sajal Debbarma, SMS (Horticulture). The training is sponsored by Agriculture Skill Council of India. At the end of this 270 hrs training programme certificate will be given to all the participants.
