AGARTALA, SEPTEMBER 8: Tripura-based technology startup Fueler has crossed the 1,40,000-member mark, emerging as a growing platform for students and professionals seeking to build career profiles around their actual work and skills.
Founded by Agartala-based entrepreneur Riten Debnath, Fueler enables users to create digital portfolios featuring projects, internships, freelance assignments, campaigns, case studies and personal initiatives. The platform promotes a “proof of work” approach, allowing users to demonstrate their capabilities through completed work rather than depending entirely on conventional resumes.
The company said its growing community includes students, creators, freelancers, designers, marketers and early-career professionals. Through structured portfolios, users can showcase their experience and skills to prospective employers, clients and organisations.
Fueler has also been expanding its network through partnerships with startups, agencies and creators across India. The company said these collaborations help organisations identify suitable talent while providing community members with opportunities to participate in real-world projects and gain practical experience.
Its ecosystem includes collaborations with organisations such as GrowthX, Growth School, LEAP, Scaler, Flexiple, Buzzlab, Inagiffy, Owled, Topmate and FinFloww.
Fueler has also worked with creators including Ansh Mehra, Vaibhav Sisinty, Sindu Biswal and Ishan Sharma, among others.
According to the company, members of its community have gone on to work with organisations including Microsoft, PayPal, GitLab, YourStory, Scaler, Cautio, Ugaoo, HackerRank and AppsForBharat.
Debnath said the platform’s growth reflects a change in the way students and young professionals approach career development, with greater emphasis being placed on demonstrable skills and practical experience.
The founder also pointed to the significance of building the startup from Tripura, a state that is outside India’s traditional technology and startup hubs.
“Talent is everywhere. Opportunity, however, is often unevenly distributed,” Debnath said, highlighting the need to create platforms that can connect skilled individuals with opportunities irrespective of their location.
The 1,40,000-member milestone comes as Fueler seeks to strengthen its role as a bridge between emerging talent and organisations looking for skilled professionals.
The company said its focus will remain on expanding the community, increasing industry collaborations and creating more avenues for users to showcase their work.
Fueler’s growth has also placed the spotlight on Tripura’s emerging startup ecosystem, demonstrating the potential for technology ventures from the Northeast to build communities with a wider national reach.
