**Agartala, September 7, 2026:** Brigadier Anand Raj Singh, Group Commander, Silchar Group, undertook an official visit to Agartala on Monday as part of his interaction and training activities with NCC units and associated institutions.
The visit began at Shaheed Bhagat Singh Youth Hostel (SBYH), where Brigadier Singh was received by Col. N.S. Baath, Commanding Officer of 13 Tripura Battalion NCC. An ANOs’ Conclave was organised at the SBYH Auditorium under the guidance of the Commanding Officer. The conclave provided a platform for interaction and exchange of views on NCC training, administration and organisational matters. The session concluded with tea and a group photograph with the participating Associate NCC Officers (ANOs).
Brigadier Singh subsequently visited BBM College, Agartala, where he was accorded a Guard of Honour. He was received by Capt. (Dr.) Samir Kumar Diabagh, ANO, BBM College. During the visit, he interacted with the Principal, ANO and NCC cadets, followed by an address in which he highlighted the importance of discipline, leadership and commitment. The programme concluded with a group photograph and refreshments with the cadets and NCC staff.
He later proceeded to MBB College, where he was again presented with a Guard of Honour and received by Lt. Gourab Roy, ANO. Brigadier Singh interacted with the Principal, ANO and NCC cadets and addressed them, motivating the young participants to uphold discipline, leadership, teamwork and responsible citizenship.
Later, accompanied by Col. N.S. Baath, Brigadier Singh visited the Secretariat Complex, Agartala, where he held an official interaction with the Hon’ble Education Minister.
Around four Army officers and 70 ANOs and CTOs participated in the activities associated with the visit. The programme strengthened interaction among NCC officers, instructors and cadets while reinforcing the organisation’s focus on character building, leadership and nation-building. The NCC fraternity expressed gratitude to Brigadier Anand Raj Singh for his guidance and encouragement.
