Agartala, February 23: Tribal Welfare Minister **Bikash Debbarma** on Monday visited the under-construction modern synthetic football ground at **Lembucherra**, located within his constituency, to assess the progress of the ongoing work. During the inspection, he interacted with officials and contractors and directed them to ensure timely completion of the project without compromising on quality standards.
The minister emphasized that the upcoming state-of-the-art sports infrastructure is expected to serve as a major boost for aspiring footballers and sports enthusiasts in the region. He underlined that such facilities are essential for nurturing local talent and providing young athletes with an appropriate platform to hone their skills. According to him, access to modern sports infrastructure not only enhances performance but also contributes significantly to the physical and mental well-being of youth.
