Agartala: Jan 10: As the ruling BJP is busy with its Jana Viswas Yatra that aims at directly connecting with the voters across all 60 constituencies in Tripura beside campaigning the development activities those took place during the last 58 months, the main opposition CPIM is brainstorming with its top leaders including national secretary Sitaram Yechury, politburo member Prakash Karat, former Tripura CM Manik Sarkar, state secretary Jitendra Chowdhury and other senior leaders to frame what are the main issues on which the party shall fight the coming assembly election of Tripura against the BJP.
CIPM is also expected to discuss on the issue of pre poll alliance with Congress as it had urged all secular democratic parties to come together here to stop the violence by the ruling party and bring back democracy and peace so that voters can come out and cast their votes.
Though CPIM is yet to officially declare regarding the alliance with Congress, once it’s main rival, despite differences over it among the party leaders the matter is likely to be finalised today during the meeting that started on Monday in the CPIM headquarters in Agartala and shall conclude by today evening.
