Agartala: Dec 05: The construction of the Ram temple in Ayodhya was obstructed by the Congress in the Supreme Court. After Narendra Modi took over as Prime Minister, Bhumi Puja initiative was taken to build Ram Temple in Ayodhya after the Supreme Court verdict. This is how Union Home Minister Amit Shah hit out at the Congress on the Ram Temple issue in a public meeting organized around the launch of the Jan Biswas Yatra in Sabroom today. He announced that the skyscraper Ram Mandir will be completed on January 1, 2024.
Incidentally, the construction of Ram temple in Ayodhya is going on for a long time in court. The BJP’s election manifesto had promised to build a Ram temple. But, it is possible to fulfill that promise under the first Modi government. But, after the establishment of the second Modi government at the Centre, the Supreme Court gave a final verdict on the Ram Mandir issue. The Supreme Court has given its verdict on the construction of Ram temple in Ayodhya. After that, Bhoomi Pujan and preparations for construction of Ram Mandir have started there. Today, Union Home Minister Amit Shah targeted the Congress and said that Ram Mandir should be built in Ayodhya. But, the Congress kept the case hanging in the court for a long time. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has taken the initiative of Bhoomi Puja after the Supreme Court verdict on the construction of Ram temple. Amit Shah today expressed interest to the people of Tripura to be ready to participate in the inauguration of Ram Mandir. He claimed that the towering Ram temple will be built in Ayodhya on January 1, 2024.
