Agartala: Jan 01: The All Tripura Unorganized Workers’ Congress paid tribute to the late former Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh. On Wednesday, a solemn event was held in the Battala area of Agartala to honor his memory.
The ceremony was attended by Shantanu Pal, Chairman of the All Tripura Unorganized Workers’ Congress, Tamoy Roy, President of the West District Congress, and other dignitaries. Attendees paid their respects by offering flowers at the portrait of Dr. Manmohan Singh.
Speaking at the event, Shantanu Pal expressed the deep loss felt by the organization and its members due to Dr. Singh’s passing, stating that they had lost a great guardian. He emphasized that under Dr. Singh’s leadership as Prime Minister, the country saw significant progress in various sectors, contributing to India’s overall development.
