Agartala: Dec 28: Union Minister Prahlad Joshi has arrived in Tripura for a two-day visit, where he’ll participate in various government programs and official engagements. Upon arrival, he was welcomed by Tripura’s Food Minister, Sushanta Chowdhury, at the Maharaja Bir Bikram Airport in Agartala ¹.
During his stay, Joshi will review food distribution and consumer affairs schemes in the state, as well as assess the progress of renewable energy initiatives. His first-day schedule includes a visit to the Food Corporation of India (FCI) office in Nandan Nagar, near Agartala.
This visit underscores the central government’s commitment to strengthening initiatives in the northeastern region, focusing on better service delivery, food security, and sustainable energy solutions. Tripura has been working to improve its food distribution system and expand public welfare programs, and Joshi’s visit is expected to further these goals.
