Agartala: August 27: On August 27, 2024, authorities in Agartala, conducted a joint search operation at the Agartala railway station based on secret information. During the operation, they discovered 81 kilograms of dry ganja (marijuana) on a moving train bound for Jirania. It is suspected that the drugs were being transported to another state. The seized ganja has an estimated market value of 567,000 rupees. The Agartala GRP police have initiated an investigation to identify the owner(s) of the illegal drugs.
