Addressing the Police Commemoration Day observance at Manoranjan Debbarma Smriti Stadium in A.D. Nagar here, Saha said the state government was giving special emphasis to police modernisation, improving operational efficiency and strengthening the law-and-order machinery.
He said the government’s objective was to ensure a safe and peaceful environment for every citizen and provide prompt police assistance whenever required.
