Tripura Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha today said that the state government will organise a month-long series of programmes to commemorate the birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi on September 17.
The programmes will commence on September 17, the Prime Minister’s birthday, and culminate on October 17.
Addressing a press conference in Agartala, Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha said the theme of the month-long observance is “Seva Sankalp Abhiyan – Jan Seva Hi Prabhu Seva.” A series of programmes will be organised across the state under the campaign.
The programmes will also commemorate Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 25 years of continuous public service—first as the Chief Minister of Gujarat for nearly 13 consecutive years and thereafter as the Prime Minister of the country from 2014 till date.
Chief Minister Dr. Saha described Prime Minister Narendra Modi as the greatest Prime Minister the country has ever seen. He highlighted the achievements and grassroots impact of several Central Government initiatives, including the Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana, PM Gati Shakti, Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana, and other major initiatives and decisions, including Operation Sindoor and the abrogation of Article 370.
As part of the month-long observance, programmes such as Angan Milan Seva, Seva Ki Kahani, College Yatra, Service My Contribution, Seva Ke Rang – Rashtra Ke Sang, Sushasan Samvaad, and Namo Seva Ankahi Kahaniyaan will be organised across the state.
A committee has been constituted for the smooth implementation of the programmes, with the State Information and Cultural Affairs Department designated as the nodal department.
Ministers and Secretaries of the Tripura Government have been entrusted with the responsibility of ensuring the smooth implementation of the various programmes.
