e-Age Healthcare Private Limited is set to launch the largest dialysis unit in the northeastern region at Tripura Medical College, Hapania. The unit, described by Managing Director Dr. Joy Basu as offering “5-star facilities at minimal charges,” will begin operations on Sunday with 30 high-end dialysis machines.
During a press meet on Saturday at Heritage Restaurant, Dr. Basu emphasized the uniqueness of the facility, noting that it will be the largest and one of the most luxurious dialysis centers in the northeast. He highlighted that the charges will be very affordable compared to existing market rates, with top-notch quality provided by imported machines from Germany.
The new unit aims to meet the growing demand for quality renal care in the northeastern states, where kidney disease rates are rising and existing facilities are often inadequate. Dr. Basu assured that all Ayushman Bharat cardholders would receive treatments at minimal cost, making high-quality dialysis accessible to a broader population.
Dr. Basu also expressed gratitude towards Chief Minister Prof. (Dr.) Manik Saha for his support in realizing this project. He stated that the state-of-the-art facility at Tripura Medical College will provide world-class dialysis services at affordable rates, benefiting not only the people of Tripura but also those from surrounding states and neighboring countries.
Dr. Swapan Saha, CEO of Tripura Medical College, highlighted the significance of the project, stating that the dialysis unit will not only be the largest in the northeast but also a world-class facility that will benefit thousands of patients. He added that this addition will elevate the institution’s stature in the healthcare ecosystem.
