Agartala, November 18: Tripura’s Agriculture and Election Minister, Ratanlal Nath, took the initiative on Saturday to distribute offer letters among candidates selected by the Joint Recruitment Board of Tripura following examinations conducted by the agriculture and election department.
Highlighting the government’s commitment to transparency, Minister Nath stated that, in alignment with election promises, the present administration ensures a fair selection process.
Emphasizing the absence of political interference, he declared that only qualified candidates secure opportunities, a departure from the previous system.
Minister Nath underscored the government’s dedication to enhancing the state’s GDP growth, with a specific focus on the agricultural sector. New appointments in this domain aim to contribute to Tripura’s self-sufficiency in food production.
While acknowledging government jobs as vital, Minister Nath expanded that it is not the only solution to unemployment rather youths have to be self-employed and be job creators.
He claimed a significant rise in self-employment, particularly among women, through Self Help Groups (SHGs) in recent years. This trend, he argued, contributes to the overall growth of the economy.
