Agartala September 5: Hot situation 23 Dhanpur 4 Booth No. Mohanbhog Anandpur area. It is alleged that Tipra Matha workers attacked and injured 11 BJP workers outside. According to the incident, 11 BJP workers from different parts of Vathanganj biked to the polling station at Anandpur School in Booth No. 23 Dhanpur 4 area. Then seeing the 11 BJP workers from Savanganj, Mathar workers started attacking them with sharp weapons, rod sticks.
The bikes that were with the BJP workers were set on fire by Matha workers. Injured in the attack by Mathar workers, BJP workers lay on the spot. From there, Melaghar firemen rescued them from the spot and took them to Melaghar hospital.
The injured are: Rajit Debbarma, age 42, of Bishramganja, Liton Mia, age 44, home Bishramganja, Uttam Debbarma, age 42, of Vathanganj, Biswajit Debbarma, age 40, of Charilam, Ranjit Debbarma, age 41, of Bishramganja, Uttam Debbarma, of Bishramganja, Jaydev Mashroom of Bishramganja, Bivekananda Jamatia of Jumer Depa, Rob Debbarma, Mofiz Mia of Bishramganja, Sumir Saha Age 19, House Mohanbhog, there is one more whose name is not known. A total of six people including Uttam Debbarma, Liton Mia Rujit Debbarma, Nitai Debbarma and later two others were referred to Agartala GB Hospital. 23 Dhanpur BJP candidate Bindu Debnath, Sonamura mandal secretary Biswajit Das, Minority Morcha leader Jasim Uddin and other BJP functionaries rushed to the Melaghar hospital after hearing about this incident. However, the injured workers and BJP leaders did not open their mouths about this.
