Agartala September 4: A violent incident against a teacher in Kamalpur English Medium XII School. The complaint against the teacher is that he misbehaves with the students. But if the headmaster’s statement clarifies when he had behaved in this way, the matter must be looked into.
On Monday, members of ABVP Kamalpur Nagar unit and students of the school closed the school gate and started a protest demanding the dismissal and transfer of the teacher Sajal Ghosh. At around 3:30, DCM Aditi Das, OC Sanjay Lashkar came to the school and discussed with ABVP leaders and school authorities against whom the complaint would be reported to the higher authorities. Action will be taken accordingly. With this assurance, they withdrew the protest. When asked about this from the headmaster, he said that after such allegations were raised against Sajal Ghosh, parents or students were asked to give a written statement as to when he did the activity. Then if it is true after seeing the CC camera of that day then legal action will be taken.
But no one has given any written till now. A written submission was read by the ABVP on Monday. But he made it clear that the investigation cannot be carried out as there is no fixed date or schedule. Despite written submissions from ABBP, no written submissions have been received from the guardian till date. The headmaster made it clear that no action can be taken based on word of mouth. However, the teacher against whom the complaint is made is the husband of a member of the Kamalpur mandal.
