Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha laid the foundation stone for the office of the new State Director General of Police in the Agartala Capital Complex area on Sunday. After Bhumi Pujan, the Chief Minister said that the land was being looked at for the construction of the office of the new State Director General of Police.But the land could not be found.
Finally they found the place. The construction of the new office of the State Director General of Police in the Capital Complex area will help in the work. Earlier there was a problem due to lack of space. The chief minister expressed hope that the speed of work will increase in the coming days as the scope is bigger in the new place. He also said that the coming days will be good for the state. This new building will be built on an acre of land. But as per rules more land will be required. All the offices of the State Director General of Police will be shifted to the newly constructed building. Chief Minister said that law and order in the state is good. Opposition is raising false issues of legislation to mislead people as they have no issues. The chief minister said that there will be no gain in the election. Director General of Police Amitabh Ranjan along with senior officials of the state police was also present at the Bhumi Pujan ceremony.
