Agartala: Nov 05: Teliamura Assembly constituency is hot this time due to terrorism. The situation is dire with complaints and counter-complaints. Two police personnel along with supporters of two political parties were injured. Political conflict again. Centering on this rally, activists and supporters of CPIM student youth organization Teliamura sub-committee were holding a road meeting at Karilong School Chowmuhani area of Teliamura police station area on Saturday evening.
It was then that an attack was launched from the BJP party’s rally into the CPIM’s road meeting. This is the complaint of the supporters of the CPIM party. 2 police personnel were injured along with supporters of both the parties. A car was also vandalized. Due to this incident, Teliamura School Choumuhani area was engulfed in flames. The news went to Teliamura police station. A large police and TSR force led by Teliamura Divisional Police Officer Prasoon Kanti Tripura rushed to the spot after receiving the information. Meanwhile, the injured worker and the police personnel were brought to Teliamura sub-district hospital in a bloody condition in a police vehicle. Chief Constable of the State Assembly Kalyani Roy rushed to the Teliamura Sub-Divisional Hospital on hearing the incident and blamed the CPIM for the incident. Excitement spread in the whole of Teliamura based on this incident. Huge police and TSR forces have been deployed at the spot to handle the situation. Complaints were made by both parties after the incident.
