Agartala: Nov 05: National president of BJP SC Morcha, Lal Singh Arya arrived here on Saturday for a two days tour of Tripura. Immediately after arriving here he visited the Dr BR Ambedkar girls hostel in which large number of scheduled cast students stay. He inspected and interacted with the boarders to know if they are enjoying all facilities and schemes provided by the union and the state government for their development. He also enquired about these schemes. The visit is part of the ‘Basti Sampark Abhiyan’ of BJP SC Morcha across the country that started from September 17, the birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Arya who has been a minister in Madhya Pradesh said that as per the instructions of the party’s national president JP Nadda the BJP Scheduled Caste Morcha under this program as many as 75000 dalit settlements and 7500 SC hostels across the nation and till date has already covered 32000 settlements and 500 hostels. The campaign will continue till Constitution Day on November 26 and in these 70-day a team of five workers and leaders each was constituted in 871 districts of 30 states and training was also given to them. Along with this, conferences of intellectuals of scheduled castes are also being organised.
