Agartala: Dec 17: A T-10 cricket tournament was organized at the Kalitila Yuva Sangha ground on Saturday, under the initiative of Teliamura Block Yuva Trinamool Congress. Tripura Pradesh Trinamool Congress State President Pijush Kanti Biswas, All India Trinamool Congress Rajya Sabha MP Sushmita Dev, State Trinamool Congress General Secretary Pujan Biswas and other leaders were present to inaugurate this cricket tournament.
On this day, Tripura Pradesh Trinamool Congress State President Piyush Kanti Biswas said, “I thank Teliamura Yuva Trinamool Congress for organizing this cricket tournament. In the future, the District Trinamool Congress will try to build a bond between the societies through such tournaments. I believe that the tournament in the future will have more success.”
All India Trinamool Congress Rajya Sabha MP Sushmita Dev said, “Today a cricket tournament is going to be started by Yuva Trinamool Congress. I hope that our players from Teliamura or Tripura can play at national and international level. Today the big problem in Tripura state is drugs. We can see the youth society of Tripura is in big trouble for Nonesha. Home minister of the country went to Assam and he very proudly said that he burnt thousands of kilos of drugs with the help of Assam police. My question is that 75000 kgs of drugs have been caught from Tripura state and it was burnt. Done? The question is where are these drugs coming from? It is the responsibility of the Home Minister of India to find out, by what route, how these drugs are entering the state of Tripura?”
