Agartala: Dec 11: Rulling Government issued liquor shop license and the police are seized illegal liquor sellers with liquor. And this is the example of making a drug free Tripura. In a span of 24 hours two types of pictures were seen in Agartala city. On Saturday afternoon, local residents protested against the closure of liquor counters in the capital’s Aralia Panchabati Bazar.
Meanwhile, after 24 hours on Sunday afternoon, a special team of West police station raided Natun Nagar Bazar. Police recovered 110 bottles of foreign liquor and 60 liters of domestic liquor after raiding the shop of market trader Himanshu Bhowmik. Seven people were arrested for drinking illegally in the shop. Anti-narcotics drive continues in all police stations of Sadar Division. Sadar SDPO Ajay Kumar Das said that this operation was organized as part of it. This campaign will continue continuously. Police send a strong message against unscrupulous traders to stop all these activities, otherwise police will take strict action against them. The police made it clear that no person will be exempted. But then the question is in which direction is the police running and in which direction is the government running. However, the people want to be freed from the grip of addiction.
