Agartala, April 7: BJP’s poll campaign in the East Tripura tribal reserved seat is gaining momentum. All-out efforts are being made to win the BJP candidate with a greater margin of votes in this election than in the previous elections.
An election rally in support of the BJP candidate from the East Tripura Lok Sabha constituency was held at the Chamnu Motor Stand on the initiative of the BJP Chamnu Mandal Committee. BJP candidate and Praduth Kishore Devavarman was supposed to be present in this meeting but was not present due to unavoidable reasons. No leader of Tipra Matha could be seen on stage as Pradut Kishore and candidates were not present at the election meeting. Minister Ratanlal Nath, MLA Shambhulal Chakma and Mandal President Mohanlal Chakma and District Committee member Madhav Barua were present in this election meeting.
While addressing the meeting, Minister Shri Nath asked the Congress workers why they will vote for CPM? Many Congress workers and supporters were killed during the CPM period, why did they not get any justice. Revtisarkar, Nishikanta Chakma, Prahlad Majumdar were murdered in Chailengtay, but no justice was done. CPM cadres have killed, but the cadres have not been punished. But since the BJP government came to power, it has provided various facilities to the common people.
Therefore, to strengthen Narendra Modi’s hand in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, he urged Kriti Devabarman to win the East Tripura Lok Sabha seat by a large margin.
