BJP Booth-Level Workers Vital Pillars of Party Strength: Chief Minister
Agartala: March 28: In a recent address, Tripura Chief Minister Professor (Dr.) Manik Saha underscored the pivotal role played by booth-level workers within the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Speaking at a gathering organized by the Teliamura Mandal, Saha emphasized that these grassroots workers constitute the bedrock of the party’s success.
According to Saha, the BJP’s robust organizational structure at the booth level has been instrumental in securing electoral victories across Tripura. As the country gears up for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, the Chief Minister asserted that the performance of these dedicated workers would significantly impact the party’s prospects.
Saha also lauded Prime Minister Narendra Modi, characterizing him as a guarantor of development. He urged BJP workers to rally behind Modi, ensuring his resounding victory in the impending Lok Sabha polls.
Taking a critical stance, Saha directed his attention toward the Communist Party of India (Marxist) (CPM). He predicted that the CPM’s influence in Tripura was waning, citing their 25-year rule marked by violence and turmoil.
Furthermore, Saha lamented the recent alliance between the CPM and the Congress, viewing it as a cause for concern. Nevertheless, he expressed unwavering confidence that the BJP would emerge even stronger in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
