Agartala: Mar 02: TIPRA Motha supremo and the Royal Scion of Tripura Pradyot Kishore Deb Barman says, “I told u I woudn’t come back empty handed from Delhi. A historic record is going to be signed today. We shall win when, in the coming days we fulfill our land, constitutional, political, language and economic rights. I was successful because of your love and support”.
Pradyot has been under increasing pressure from his constituents over the TIPRALAND issue, on the basis of which his fledgling party rose of the seconf largest in the Assembly in the elections held last year.
Tribal Welfare Minister Bikas Debbarmma said “ we want Pradyot to come with us and work together for the betterment of Tiprasa”.
Pradyot had launched his fast unto death on February 27, over both the demand for a separate Greater Tipraland state and for autonomy for the TTAADC. Atleast 30,000 supporters gathered to hear him. After 15 minutes into his speecg during his hunger strike, he received a call and then announced “I have to go to Delhi”.
After 80 hours of his fast today morning he posted in his social media account “I told u I woudn’t come back empty handed from Delhi”.
