Agartala, February 12: Under the auspices of the Border Security Force (BSF), a significant ‘Rojgar Mela’ unfolded today at the FTR HQ in Shalbagan. The event, aimed at fostering employment opportunities, witnessed the virtual inauguration by Prime Minister Narendra Modi via video conference.
A total of 45 youths, including 13 from the BSF, have secured their futures through this initiative. During the Mela, recruitment letters were disbursed to candidates hailing from various corners of the country. These newly appointed individuals are set to join different Ministries and Departments of the Government of India, spanning various levels, including the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF).
Tripura, in particular, saw 42 candidates receive recruitment letters today. These appointments extend across organizations such as the BSF, Tripura Grameen Bank, EPFO, and India Post.
Distinguished guests graced the occasion, including Pratima Bhoumik, Minister of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India; Rajesh Kumar, DIG (PSO); Acting IG BSF Frontier Tripura, Satyendra Singh, Chairman of Tripura Grameen Bank; and Rajarshi Chakma, Regional PF.
The Prime Minister, addressing the new recruits and their parents via video conference during the Rozgar Mela, ignited a palpable sense of enthusiasm. His unwavering commitment to youth welfare and job creation resonated strongly with the candidates.
Across ministries and departments, the government remains steadfast in its mission to fill vacancies, guided by the Prime Minister’s directives. Whether through internal efforts or recruitment agencies like UPSC, SSC, and others, these appointments signify a collective endeavor toward national progress.
