Agartala: Nov 26: For the ruling BJP, the 2023 assembly elections are tougher than the 2018 battle. Many workers including executives have left the party after failing to fulfill many promises in the last five and a quarter years. The only question of all is that if the promise is not fulfilled, how they will show their face in public. As a result, they were forced to turn away from the party. And in this the organization has weakened in the last five and a quarter years.
As the elections are approaching, the ruling party is not able to hold any kind of rally meeting in the city. The understaffed party has been busy adopting strategy after strategy to bring back the government in the state. A state-based conference was organized by BJP’s Tripura Pradesh Sports Cell at Shahid Bhagat Singh Youth Hostel in Khejur Bagan, Agartala on Saturday. Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha was present as the chief guest in this conference. Today, before the start of the conference, the party flag of BJP was hoisted in front of Shahid Bhagat Singh Youth Home. Later Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha inaugurated the conference by lighting the lamp at Shahid Bhagat Singh Youth Home.
Addressing the conference, Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha asked the leaders of the sports cell to talk to the sports minister for coordination between the government and the party. There is no room to think that no one is talking about anyone. The party will see to it that the respect of the various cells of the party remains intact, so will the government. The government is working in that direction. The current government does not follow the leftist ideology. The current government is exceptional. For the current government, the country comes first, then the society, and finally itself. During the previous government, leaders used to perform their own work.
The present government has been established as a result of many hardships. The cell will be strong only if there is a government. Otherwise many problems will be faced. Keeping this in mind, the government should be established first. Rajeev Bhattacharya, State President of Pradesh BJP, Phanindra Nath Sharma, General Secretary of BJP North-East Region, Sushanta Chowdhury, Minister of Youth Welfare and Sports Department, Kamal Dey, Observer of Sports Cell of Pradesh BJP and others were present as special guests in this day’s conference. Sports cell members from different parts of the state were present as delegates in the state based conference.
