Agartala October 31: State-wise Rashtriya Ekta Diwas organized on the occasion of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel’s birth anniversary was held on Tuesday. On this day, a special ceremony was held at Swami Vivekananda Maidan in the capital. Minister of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Department Ratan Lal Nath, Minister of Industries Santana Chakma, Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports Department Tinku Roy, Vice Principal Ramprasad Pal were present in the event organized by the Department of Youth Affairs and Sports.
Officials of various departments and others were also present. While speaking on the occasion, Minister Ratanlal Nath said that since 2014, initiatives have been taken to celebrate the birthday of Saddar Vallabh Bhai Patel through special arrangements across the country. Narendra Modi, the current Prime Minister of the country, has taken this initiative to increase awareness among people about his activities. Vallabhbhai Patel was the original Kandari of Akhanda India. The Prime Minister honored Saddar Vallabhbhai Patel by unveiling the world’s tallest statue of 2018 in Gujarat. Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel served as one of the social leaders in the freedom struggle. He also called for a better India. Today is the day to take that oath. He said that the government is working with the aim of making one India a better India and an integral India under his direction. Then Unity Run was held on the occasion of Rashtriya Ekta Divas.
