Agartala, October 13: Goons under the ruling party are extorting money from common people on the occasion of Sharadiya Durgotsava. Pradesh Congress President Ashish Kumar Saha took the state government to task for the oppression of money laundering in a press conference at the Congress Bhawan today.
According to him, corruption has reached extreme limits during the rule of BJP government. Day by day people’s employment is shrinking. Moreover, the BJP government is using REGA’s work as a tool. In the meantime, thugs under the auspices of the ruling party have unleashed extortion on common people in different parts of the state.
On this day, he said, the state Congress will start a movement for the overall development, infrastructure and development of the people. Congress will march to Raj Bhavan on November 22 with various demands of the people.
