Agartala, September 29: The TWIPRA Student’s Federation (TSF), the largest tribal student organization in Tripura, has announced its support for the dawn-to-dusk strike scheduled for Saturday in the TTAADC area, as called for by the Opposition TIPRA Motha.
TSF’s General Secretary, Hamulu Jamatia, made this announcement during a press conference held in Agartala today.
Jamatia stated that in addition to advocating for Greater Tipraland and the realization of their constitutional rights, they are also endorsing the strike to push for the long-standing demand to declare the Roman script as the official script for Kokborak.
He went on to explain that TSF has been advocating for this demand for the past 50 years, and as it remains unfulfilled to date, they are participating in the strike to protest and urge the government to take appropriate measures to address these issues.
