TIPRA Women Federation took out a silent protest torch rally condemning the Manipur incidents especially the atrocities on two women the video of which has recently gone viral, in Agartala.
The protesters demanded resignation of Chief Minister N Biren Singh for his failure and raised concerns why Prime Minister Narendra Modi had not taken steps toward restoring peace in the troubled torn state where violence is continuing for more than two and a half month.
The protest started from Vivekananda Maidan and went through the streets of the capital city.
