‘Outsiders and infiltrators’ wreaking BJP in Tripura, I had informed the central leadership about it said former CM and Rajya Sabha member Biplab Kumar Deb on his arrival here from Delhi on Sunday.
Speaking to reporters at his official residence Deb said, “The BJP government is in power for second term in Tripura and the party had freed the state from the communists, I have tried to do my job with maximum effort. I believe in leadership of PM Modi. I shall continue to do so. Our’s is a disciplined party but from time to time I see some people from outside interfering in the party. I have informed this to the leadership. We shall run the party under leadership of Modi and Shah. Party and government will run in right direction. I have apprised the leadership of such external interference. BJP is a disciplined party. I have full faith on PM Modi. I got the chance to work with his blessings. I shall work in whatever capacity he gives me.”
When asked what he mean by outsider, he said: “You understand the details of external interference. Everyone understands who understands and why. Party organisation is hampered due to this. I am not a bureaucratic.officer. when such interference happens, it’s my duty to present it before the right place.“
On being asked to further explain what he mean by outside interference Deb said, I shall not be able to tell here. I have apprised them about this. I shall work with commitment. We have our party president, Nadda, Modi. No other party has such leadership.
They have heard what I said. I want to work with everyone.”
