Agartala: Nov 11: STGT qualification holders gheraoed the Education Minister’s residence demanding re-employment of STGT qualification holders. Unemployed young women who have got STGT qualifications are continuing their agitation to demand recruitment together. They met the ministers and gave assurances but even that is taking a long time.
In this situation, they are continuing their agitation to demand the appointment of those who have qualified STGT together. Allegedly, the police arrested them as soon as they protested. STGT qualifiers staged a demonstration in front of the Education Minister’s residence on Friday again demanding recruitment.
On this day, they provoked anger in the role of education minister. Their question is, have they committed a crime? Many of them have done B.Ed., D.L.Ed in different ways with a lot of difficulty. A large police force goes there to control the situation. However, later a five-member delegation met the Education Minister and presented their demands.
