After the announcement of the assembly election results, many activists and supporters of various political parties against the ruling party were injured in the post-election violence in different parts of the state. Union Minister of State Pratima Bhowmik rushed to GB Hospital on Friday to see the BJP workers undergoing treatment at GB Hospital who were injured in political terrorism.
He visited the GB Hospital and spoke to the family members of the injured BJP workers. He inquired about their physical condition. Later in an interview, Union Minister of State Pratima Bhowmik said that Tipra Matha and Communist-leaning miscreants attacked BJP workers in various parts of the state on election day and counting day. Many BJP workers and supporters were injured. The condition of several BJP workers is critical. He condemned the incident. And advised the opposition leaders to accept the people’s verdict. On this day, Union State Minister Pratima Bhowmik was accompanied by elected representatives of Jolaibari Assembly Constituency and Shantirbazar Constituency Shukla Charan Noyatia and Pramod Riang and others.
