Agartala: Feb 11: In the last five years, the BJP and IPFT coalition government has tried to strangle the ADC. But before coming to power, the promise was to make Tipraland. But five years of insulting the ADC has shown that they came to power by misleading the people. And even after the expiry of the term, the village committee was not allowed to be elected.
BJP is trying to show people a new dream in the upcoming elections. In fact, the Bharatiya Janata Party does not respect the people at all. They think the people of this state are stupid, not at human level. So they played with the people for five years. This BJP should be taught a lesson in the upcoming elections. This is what CPIM State Secretary Jitendra Chowdhury said while attacking the BJP in an election meeting in support of Satyajit Reang, the CPI nominee on Saturday 36 Shantirbazar. He did not make a mistake in attacking Tipra Matha in his speech that day. He raised the question that if Tipra Matha votes for the Bharatiya Janata Party in the upcoming elections will their people be called enemies or allies? Because Tipra Matha was asked to join a secular democratic alliance to avoid splitting the anti-BJP votes. So that BJP’s position is empty.
Throwing questions at them, why did they make a separate platform to remove BJP. Jitendra Chowdhury said that there is still time to come to one stage. He urged people to vote in support of the combined efforts of the Congress and the Left Front and said that the BJP is not only the enemy of the CPIM and the Congress. They are the enemy of the people. To form the government before 2018, the BJP had said that if a double-engine government is formed, the development in Tripura will double. The work of village reggae will be doubled, wages will be doubled, allowances will be tripled, 7 lakh unemployed will get income for five years, salary of employees will be doubled, hospitals and colleges will be in every sub-division. The people of the state fell into this temptation and worked tirelessly to establish this government before the 2018 assembly elections. But nothing happened.
He also said that in the last five years, the coalition government has not done anything for the youths who destroyed people’s houses, vandalized, looted and set fire to people’s houses and offices in the last five years. Instead, BJP has wasted five precious years by attaching gangsters before the names of those youths. It took five years from the lives of the peasants and laborers of the state. No valuable project was taken up for them afresh. The manifesto researched for the upcoming elections does not contain a single promise for employees, unemployed, farmers and workers. Jiten Chowdhury also said that in the last five years, the BJP has used government officials including police engineers as puppets in the state of Tripura. And even though they have no right to administer the law, the unelected BJP MPs have committed unconstitutional acts in trying to administer the Tripura laws. After the assembly elections of Tripura state on February 16, their rule will no longer continue in Tripura state from March two. A people’s government will be established. Therefore, Jitendra Chowdhury criticized the Bharatiya Janata Party as being scared. Local CPIM leaders along with nominated candidates were present in the organized meeting.
