Then no need to bring money from Delhi. Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha said this while inaugurating the Farmers’ Knowledge Center next to Sekerkot Agricultural Sub-Bijakar of Kamala Sagar Assembly Constituency on Thursday. The chief minister said that now is the age of science.
Many new scientific instruments have been invented. Only if you use them properly will you get results. The kind of management that exists in the Krishak Gyan Arkan Center for farmers today was not even in the college in the past. Farmer knowledge centers will provide training to farmers on how to increase production and market the produce. India is a major agricultural country. Tripura is no exception. If the farmers are economically developed, only then will the society develop. The previous government of the state did not give importance to this issue.
The current Prime Minister of the country is constantly making efforts to double the income of the farmers. The current state government is a pragmatic government. The present state government is a people’s government. The present state government is working transparently following the path shown by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The central government is doing infrastructural development. The expansion of rail connectivity has taken place in the state. Agartala railway station will become an international standard railway station.

During the previous government in the state, the farmers were misled in the name of agrarian movement.
Farmers are true friends of society, food donors. If they are welfare, the government will be welfare. The Chief Minister also said that the current government wants to be with the common people. There was potential for setting up medium to large industries in the state. But it was not allowed to do so during the previous government. In the name of agitation, all the factories have been closed by turning the workers against the owner. He also said that both workers and owners should be saved. The current government is working in that direction. Apart from the Chief Minister, West Tripura Zilla Parishad Chairman Antara Dev Sarkar, Dukli Panchayat Samiti Vice Chairman Dulal Sarkar, Agriculture Department Secretary Apurba Roy, Subir Chowdhury, a prominent philanthropist of the area and other officials of the Agriculture Department were present in the ceremony. A tractor, two spray machines and a water pump machine were distributed among the poor farmers of the area on this day. On this day, the presence of farmers in the area as well as common people was noticeable.
