Agartala, March 14: Even while being away from their families, Border Security Force (BSF) personnel stationed along the India-Bangladesh frontier in Tripura joined the rest of the nation in celebrating Holi, the festival of colors, on Friday.
At the Lankamura border outpost located in the outskirts of Agartala, BSF troopers and their officials took part in the festivities, embracing the spirit of unity and brotherhood.
They expressed that their fellow soldiers and officers form an extended family, representing diverse backgrounds from every corner of India and various faiths, all coming together to celebrate Holi and other festivals without any barriers.
Although they missed their families, the personnel shared that such celebrations strengthen their bonds, foster fraternity, and renew their commitment to their primary duty—guarding the border with full dedication.
Female troopers also participated in the celebrations, adding to the vibrant atmosphere at the border post.
