Agartala: Mar 02: On Sunday, the Shishu Sangam 2025 program was held at Sadhak Ratan Mani Seva Sadan School in Kanchanpur, marking the 100th year of the Shishu Sangam program in India. The event, organized under the inspiration of Vishwa Hindu Parishad and the initiative of Sadhak Ratan Mani Seva Sadan School Committee, was graced by the Hon’ble Governor of the state, Shri Indrasena Reddy Nallu, who served as the chief guest.
A rally procession with children started from the Anandabazar area at 6 am, leading to the main program at Sadhak Ratan Mani Seva Sadan School at around 12 noon. The Hon’ble Governor was joined by Hon’ble Minister Rampada Jamatia, Chairman of ST Corporation, and officials from various places of Vishwa Hindu Parishad.
The jawans of the 13th TSR Battalion of Kanchanpur presented a state salute to the Hon’ble Governor. Sadhak Ratan Mani Seva Sadan School, which educates over two hundred students and provides a high-quality hostel, launched a new ambulance for the students, which was inaugurated by the Hon’ble Governor.
The event marked a significant milestone in the Shishu Sangam program, celebrating a century of contributions to children’s education and welfare.
