Agartala: Feb 01: A gruesome family dispute in Tripura’s Bishalgarh area has left four people dead and one critically injured. The altercation occurred between Bipul Das and his nephew, Ajanta Das (also known as Achintya), over a family matter. The situation escalated when Ajanta, along with his father Bishnu Das and wife, attacked Bipul, his wife Shimu, and their two sons with sharp weapons .
Bipul and Shimu succumbed to their injuries, while their youngest son died on Saturday morning. The elder son remains in critical condition. The police arrested Ajanta on the spot, but Bishnu Das and his wife are still absconding.
The incident has sparked widespread outrage, with the public vandalizing Ajanta’s house and car. The police are working to maintain law and order in the area, with District Superintendent of Police VJ Reddy and a large police force present at the scene.
