Agartala: Oct 10: Police in Madhupur police station and BSF have jointly arrested two Bangladeshi nationals and two Indian brokers. Acting on a tip-off, they were apprehended by the Madhupur police and BSF of Kaiyadepa camp while illegally crossing the border and entering the state. They were arrested from the Kaiyadepa border area on Thursday morning. Subsequently, they were taken to Madhupur police station.
The names of the two arrested Bangladeshi nationals are Md. Russel and Mohammad Jaynat. On the other hand, the names of the two arrested Indian brokers are Halal Mia and Jinal Hossain. Their homes are in Charidam area. Madhupur police station OC Debjit Chatterjee said that based on a tip-off, police and BSF jointly conducted a raid and arrested two Bangladeshi nationals and two Indian brokers. The arrested were handed over to Madhupur police station on Thursday and produced in court.
