Agartala: Oct 03: Based on a tip-off, a joint operation by Sonamura GRP and BSF has led to the arrest of an Indian tout. The GRP Station Officer, Tapas Das, has informed that the arrested individual is involved in a previous case.
SO Tapas Das stated, “Early this morning, with the assistance of BSF and Sonamura Police Station, we managed to apprehend an Indian tout from Motinagar Gilamura. The arrested person is Nazmul Hossain (19), a resident of Motinagar Gilamura. We have brought him under police remand and anticipate that more human traffickers will be apprehended from that area. “ For further investigation, we are producing the accused before the Court seeking police remand”, he said.
